Developers Douglas and Roger Knight have a deep connection with The Woods of Parley's Lane.  Their father, James Kinght, acquired the land in 1960 as part of his purchase of the historic Jeremy Ranch.  Douglas and Roger grew up working the land, running a dude ranch, guiding hunters and catching brown trout on the land the called 'the ranch.'  Eventually the brothers purchased the land from their father.

Years passed and the woods sat quietly.  Douglas and Roger turned in their chaps and cowboy boots, setlled down to raise families and launched dual careers in construction and development.  Douglas, with his artistic talent and attention to detail, went into the custom home market, create Douglas Knight Construction, building exquisite luxury hoes in Salt Lake and Park City.

Roger, with his strong business sense and ability to lead others, formed Roger Knight Construction, a thriving commercial construction company that operates throught the western United States.

Douglas and Roger have rejoined forces to create a remarkable development, sharing their dream for this historic property in honor of their family name.  Thus the Woods of Parley's Lane was born.
